Towns Bluff offers several camping options to fit your style:
- Primitive camping – A more rustic, back-to-nature experience
- RV camping – Includes both back-in and pull-through sites
- Yurts – Comfortable, climate-controlled shelters
Tip: One of the most common questions we get is about the difference between primitive and RV sites—be sure to double-check your site type before booking.

When you arrive, please stop at the office first before heading to your campsite.
If you’re bringing an RV, here are a few helpful tips:
- Check whether your site is back-in or pull-through
- Confirm pricing and availability when booking
- Ask staff if you’re unsure where your site is when you arrive
Primitive sites have fewer amenities and are more rustic. Developed sites include hookups and easier access to facilities.
To make your stay comfortable, don’t forget:
- Linens if you’re staying in a yurt
- Towels for the bathhouse
- Your usual camping gear based on your site type
All campers must check in at the office to receive their Welcome Package before going to their campsite.
